Although the actual equipment is called AccuScan^TM, ESP provides a “clean screening” service referred to as “RapidPass^TM” or “RapidScreen^TM”. This service has enormous appeal with consumers and government agencies. Gross-Emitter Identification (GEI) services, using remote sensing devices, help to identify those vehicles with very high emissions contributing to the majority of vehicular air pollution. AccuScan^TM RSD3000 is capable of measuring approximately 3,000 vehicles per hour on a continuous basis—making it a very cost-effective solution for testing vehicle emissions.
